Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Last updated: July 2026. Dojammers respects privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. This page explains what sale and sharing mean on dojammers.com and how you can exercise your choices.
What "Sale" and "Sharing" Mean for Dojammers
California law defines "sale" broadly to include making personal information available to third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration. "Sharing" includes disclosing personal information to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising, whether or not money changes hands. On dojammers.com, sale or sharing most often occurs when advertising partners such as Google AdSense and other ad networks receive cookie identifiers, IP address, device information, and data about pages you view in order to show personalized ads on this site or other sites you visit.
We do not sell your email address, phone number, or mailing address from product inquiries or invoice orders to unrelated data brokers. Our sale/sharing opt-out focuses on cookie-based advertising and similar online tracking used for cross-context behavioral advertising.
How to Opt Out
1. Use Cookie Controls — Reject Non-Essential Cookies
When you first visit dojammers.com, our cookie banner allows you to Reject non-essential cookies with the same ease as Accept. Choosing Reject disables advertising cookies that involve sale or sharing for personalized ads, and limits analytics cookies where configured. You can reopen preferences anytime via the "Cookie settings" or "Manage cookies" link in the site footer and select Reject or disable the Advertising category.
2. Global Privacy Control (GPC)
If your browser or extension sends a recognized Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, Dojammers treats it as a valid request to opt out of sale or sharing for that browser session and associated cookies, to the extent technically feasible. No account is required. You should still see core catalog and blog functionality.
3. Email Request
California residents and other visitors may email dojammerservice@outlook.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share." Include the state you reside in, the browser or device you use if relevant, and any email address you used to contact us about orders so we can apply opt-out flags to linked records where applicable. We will confirm receipt and describe any additional steps if needed.
What Happens After You Opt Out
After a successful opt-out, third-party advertising cookies subject to sale or sharing should not be set on your device unless you later opt in through Accept or cookie settings. You may still see ads on dojammers.com, but they may be less personalized and based on contextual factors such as page content rather than cross-site profiling. Opt-out preferences are honored for at least twelve (12) months before we ask you to reauthorize sale or sharing, unless you clear cookies or use a different browser or device.
Additional Industry Opt-Out Tools
You may also manage advertising preferences through:
- Google Ads Settings: adssettings.google.com
- Digital Advertising Alliance: aboutads.info
These industry tools are operated by third parties and may supplement, but do not replace, Dojammers-specific choices.
California Rights Summary
In addition to opt-out of sale or sharing, California residents may request access to categories of personal information collected, deletion subject to exceptions, correction of inaccurate information, and information about our data practices. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. To submit a verifiable consumer request, email dojammerservice@outlook.com. We respond within statutory timeframes.
Other States
Visitors from states with targeted advertising opt-out rights — including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and others — may use the same cookie Reject, GPC, and email mechanisms described above. Dojammers applies opt-out signals nationwide where our systems support them.
